The partition for especially a shower cubicle has a wall element (4) and door element (6) hinging upon it by hinges (2) constructed in two sections interconnected by a hinge pin. The door element in the region of its longitudinal edge (10) has a recess, and a first hinge component (18) of the first hinge section (14) and a second hinge component (20) of the second hinge section (16) engage in the aforesaid recess and connected there by means of the hinge pin (24). An unbroken sealing element (12) is fitted on the longitudinal edge of the wall element.
