The cooler (4) is heat-transmittably joined to the burner (2) and has a closed cooling line (5) circulating a heat-transfer medium to cool the burner. In a first section (6), the cooling line connects for heat-transfer to the burner and in a second section (7) is coupled similarly to the cooler (4) heat sink (8). With the line (5) activated, the transfer medium is vaporized in the first section (6) and condensed in the second section (7) with the result that the medium is driven by the temperature gradient between the two sections (6 and 7). The cooling line is rated for an adjustable burner temperature. Each cooling line has an activation temperature preferably equal to the adjusted burner setting.
