A method of efficiently manufacturing a disk−like optical recording medium capable of suppressing the corrosion of a plurality of films spattered thereon before a center hole is formed therein, comprising the steps of forming a dielectric film on a disk−like base material (10) in the state of the outer peripheral part of the disk−like base material (10) shielded by an outer peripheral mask (12), and forming a metal film thereon in the state of the center part of the disk−like base material (10) shielded by an inner peripheral mask (16) installed on a spattering chamber side as well as the outer peripheral mask (12).
