A protective film containing (A) a transparent support of polypropylene or propylene/ethylene copolymer containing a light stabilizer and (B) a self adhesive composition of polyethylvinylacetate (EVA), having a vinyl acetate content of 40-80 wt.% that is mixed with 0-35 wt.% of a polyether having a mol. wt. of 200-100,000 g/mol.
