<p>The use of an RXR retinoid receptor agonist of formula (I), including optical and/or geometric isomers, acylated forms, salts and mixtures, is claimed in cosmetic or pharmaceutical compositions for inducing and/or stimulating hair growth and/or preventing hair loss.
