PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a efficient manufacture method of a protected 2'- deoxycytidine derivative of which the supply is unrestricted, by solving the problem that such as conventional column-chromatographic purification causes massive waste solvent, use of mixed solvent, or lowering of a yield. SOLUTION: The simple manufacture method including purification process to efficiently remove a by-product even in a reaction condition free from lowering yield of the reaction, is provided. The process is simplified by avoiding column-chromatographic purification which causes massive waste solvent and use of mixed solvent. Thus, practical faults in industrial manufacturing method is resolved, provides the efficient manufacture method of the protected 2'- deoxycytidine derivative of which the supply is unrestricted.
