PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily feed various kinds of recording media, particularly the recording media with coated faces, without damaging them, nor causing decline of performance of an automatic feeding device in use. SOLUTION: This feeding auxiliary sheet has a feeding auxiliary sheet base 12 mounted on a feeding tray 201 of an automatic feeding part 2 to stack sheet materials P thereon, and separating sheet bases 13 and separating sheets 14 arranged in the position of covering separation pads 241 of the automatic feeding part 2 in feeding the sheet material P, to separate the sheet material P sheet by sheet.
