PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cushioning performance of an armrest. SOLUTION: This armrest comprises the armrest main body 14 made of synthetic resin and the armrest pad 18 mounted on the upper side of the armrest main body 14. The armrest main body 14 is formed by the upper part 14a, the lower part 14b, and the link part 14c into an almost-U-shape. The free end of the upper part 14a fixed to the arm support 10. The free end of the lower part 14b is vertically slidably fit with the arm support 10. High cushioning performance can be secured by compression deformation of the arm pad 18 and deflection deformation of the armrest main body 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
