PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type cushion body with stable quality. SOLUTION: This panel type cushion body is constituted by spreading elastic cloth 12 formed with elastic thread 11 across a frame 13. The elastic cloth 12 has continuous bag shape double structure constituted by connecting the surface cloth 14 and the backside cloth 15 at the edges 16, 17. A pair of support rods 19, 20 are inserted into the hollow 18 between the surface cloth 14 and the backside cloth 15, and the edges 16, 17 of the elastic cloth are engaged with the frame 12 by the support rods 19, 20. The elastic thread 11 is used so that the longitudinal direction of the elastic thread 11 is oriented into the direction a pair of the support rods 19, 20 mutually face, and continuously spread between a pair of the support rods 19, 20 in an endless belt shape. Because the elastic cloth 12 is on a condition of cloth woven by a weaving machine or knitted by a knitting machine without finishing such as cutting, sewing, or adhering and spread across the frame 13 only by inserting the support rods 19, 20 into the hollow 18, a panel type cushion body with stable quality can be efficiently and economically obtained.
