<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-chamber type prefilled syringe which scarcely leaks a liquid therefrom in a preparatory stage or while being transported and is capable of easily and definitely processing a mixture procedure in use. <P>SOLUTION: The two-chamber type prefilled syringe is equipped with an external tube 2 provided with a protrusion 14 installed in an inner portion, an inner tube assembly 20 equipped with an inner tube 5, a 1st ring-shaped gasket 6 installed in the forefront neighborhood of the inner tube 5 and a seal material 13 which hermetically seals the forefront of the inner tube 5 and fractures due to the protrusion for damage 14, a 2nd gasket 7 housed in the inner tube, a plunger 8 installed in the posterior end of the 2nd gasket, a 1st storage, 2nd storage, and a liquid 10 for dissolving drugs housed in the first storage 9, and the powder or freeze-dried drugs 12 stored in the second storage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
