PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device for a vehicle which enables control of the occurrence of looseness of a control lever by lengthening a boss of the control lever. SOLUTION: The shift lever device for a vehicle is provided with a shaft 30 supported to a base 20 so that it can rotate around an axis core of the shaft, the shift lever 50 connected to the shaft 30 by a select pin 40 so that it can oscillate in the axis direction of the shaft, and the control lever 60. The control lever 60 is provided with the boss 61 supported to the shaft 30 so that it can rotate and an arm 62 extending from the boss 61 to the outside in the radius direction of the boss 61 at one side of a connecting part 51 of the shift lever 50 to the shaft 30. The boss 61 of the control lever 60 is extended from one side of the connecting part 51 where the arm 62 is located to the other side of the connecting part 51 and the position of the boss 61 of the control lever 60 is regulated against the shaft 30 in the axis direction of the shaft. A connecting body of the control lever 60 and the shaft 30 is restrained against the base 20 in the axis direction of the shaft. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
