PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting mutation by which the mutation is more universally and accurately detected in good sensitivity while precisely preventing the synthesis of a complemental strand on an untargeted base sequence even in any nucleic acid sequence in the method for detecting the mutation of a gene by using a LAMP method. SOLUTION: The synthesis of the complemental strand on the untargeted base sequence is prevented by using an oligonucleotide capable of specifically annealing to a mutation site on the untargeted base sequence.
