INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer recording medium in which an image is formed on a body to be transferred by using the intermediate transfer recording medium and a protective layer is formed on the image and durability of the image can be completely provided and the protective layer can be accurately and simply transferred on the image and releasing properties of a thermal transfer sheet when the image is formed and peeling-off properties when transfer to the body to be transferred is performed are stable.

SOLUTION: In the intermediate transfer recording medium in which a transparent sheet constituted of at least a transparent base material and a receiving layer is laminated through a resin layer and releasing is performed between the resin layer and the transparent base material, as a heat transfer image formed on the receiving layer with the transparent base material is transferred on the body to be transferred by using a polyallylate resin as the resin layer, a strong protective layer of the transparent base material is formed on the image and it is possible to completely provide durability of the image and to accurately and simply transfer the protective layer on the image and to stabilize releasing properties from the heat transfer sheet when the image is formed and peeling-off properties when transfer is performed on the body to be transferred.
