<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment agent for vegetables, fruits or cereals capable of easily and fully removing agricultural chemicals residue from them. <P>SOLUTION: This surface treatment agent for fresh vegetables comprises a calcium hydroxide solution of a given density as an alkaline material capable of easily removing agricultural chemicals attached to e.g. vegetables, aiming at decomposing and removing a spreader or dissociating the bond of the spreader and the agricultural chemicals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
