<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and deliciously prepare caramel source and peach jelly. <P>SOLUTION: Five pieces of commercial caramel and two tablespoonfuls of fresh cream are put in a heat-resistant container 2 and these materials are heated for 50 sec by a microwave oven and sufficiently mixed by a manual whipping tool to provide caramel source (a). Two peaches, 100 g sugar and lemon juice obtained from one lemon are prepared. The peaches are each washed and cut into halves and seeds are removed therefrom and the peaches each equally cut into halves are put into the heat-resistant container in a state having skin. Sugar and the lemon juice are further added to the interior of the container. The interior of the container is heated for 10 min in the microwave oven and these peaches are taken out and the skin of these peaches is peeled. The peeled peaches are put again in the microwave oven and heated for 5 min. After 5 min, these materials are taken out and mixed in the microwave and further heated for 3 min and mixed again. In this time, when these materials are heated in a state having the skin, the mixture has beautiful pink color. Therefore, these peaches must be heated in the state having the skin.
