PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioinstrumentation system which can concurrently offer both a signal which adapts to an electrical signal variation caused by an evoked potential generated in a living body and a signal which adapts to a hemodynamics variation, without the use of time-resolved measurement and intensity modulation measurement.
SOLUTION: Each short-time stimulus is continuously given to the living body; tissue of the living body is illuminated with a stationary light source of a near-infrared light; and a signal produced by using the each near-infrared light which transmits the tissue of the living body and scatters, is continuously sampled in synchronization with the stimulus for each short time. In this sampling, there are obtained the signal which adapts to the hemodynamics variation and in which the signals within a predetermined time from the first loading of the stimulus are integrated, and the signal which adapts to the electrical signal variation caused by the evoked potential generated from the tissue of the living body and in which the signals in synchronization with each stimulus within a predetermined time from each loading of each stimulus are integrated.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
|
