<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the supporting rigidity of a power steering motor. <P>SOLUTION: A steering device 13 is configured so that the rotary shaft of the power steering motor 14 of an electric type is installed perpendicularly to a steering shaft 15, and is supported by a cross-member 16 fixed to a vehicle body. A motor support bracket 18 and a column support bracket 17 for supporting the steering device 13 are fixed to the cross-member 16.
