PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new type of oil-based cosmetic that shows excellent gloss and moistness on application and with a passage of time despite that it is not greasy on application, gives natural cosmetic finish and has excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The oil-based cosmetic comprises one or two or more kinds of oil components selected from ester derivatives of dimer acids and dimer diols and an acylpeptide from an acyl group represented by the formula (1): RCO-(wherein R is a 3-24C straight or branched chain aliphatic group which may bear 2 or more than 2 unsaturated bonds) bonded with 2-10 amino acids.
