<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing noise in projection data acquired from a medical diagnostic equipment, costing only for a slight calculation expense. <P>SOLUTION: This method includes steps S11, S12 and S15. In the step S11, a projection data S(l, k, m) is acquired using a medical diagnostic equipment. In the step S12, the acquired projection data S(l, k, m) is filtered using a filter having a filter core with a certain filter width. In the step 15, the acquired projection data S(l, k, m) is mixed with the filtered projection data S<SB>f</SB>(l, k, m). The proportion of volume between the S<SB>f</SB>and S is determined in relation to at least the volumetric portion of the acquired projection data S(l, k, m). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
