<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generator capable of moderately heat generating when irradiated with a high frequency electromagnetic wave, and to provide a vessel for electromagnetic cooking device. <P>SOLUTION: The vessel 1 constituted so that capable of heat generation when irradiated with the high frequency electromagnetic wave, is obtained by mixing at least tourmaline powder and ferrite powder, then forming and sintering the mixture. By adopting this constitution, it allows to provide the heat generator which heat generates properly without immoderate temperature rise when irradiated with the high frequency electromagnetic wave. The tourmaline powder is safe and at a relatively low price, therefore the safe and low price vessel 1 can be provided by using this tourmaline powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
