PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the material for hot parts, which has the ability to maintain the durability even when it is used under a high temp. circumstance for a long period of time, and the method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The material for hot parts is produced by first providing a binding layer 12 of the formula MCrAlY on the surface of a metal substrate 11, then heat-treating the resulting layer at a temp. of >=900 deg.C under vacuum to form α-alumina layer 13 on the surface of the binding layer 12 and subsequently providing a heat barrier layer 14 comprising oxide ceramics on the surface of the α-alumina layer 13. |
