PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer that can automatically remove sliminess and molds which are produced on the inner wall of a grinding chamber due to the presence of a residue of raw refuse, water, etc., in several days and, when the user puts his or her hand into the grinding chamber for removing them, give a feel of fear and sense of uncleanliness to the user. SOLUTION: In this disposer, a metallic hopper 9 as a wall of a grinding part is warmed by utilizing a heater 8 or heat generated from a coil of a motor 16 to completely dry the inner wall of the grinding part, whereby the sliminess and molds can be separated or can be easily separated and the interior of the grinding chamber 5 can be kept clean without relying upon the user's hand.
