PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of an area of a board without incurring a jump of cost resulted from use of expensive manufacturing equipment, complexity of a manufacturing process, and a decline of a yield by breaking of a wire. SOLUTION: An ink jet head 1 is provided with an actuator (board) 20 having a barrier plate 29 made up by forming a groove 26a for an ink room going through from a discharging surface 23 to a rear end face 21. Each end face of electrodes 27, 28 for actuator driving located only in the groove 26a for the ink room is exposed at the rear end face 21, and the actuator driving electrodes 27, 28 are electrically connected to a driving IC 40 at each of the exposed end face.
