PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus which can easily connect a recording element locating inside to common electric potential and perform uniform recording operation without variations for a plurality of recording elements. SOLUTION: Flexible wiring boards 24, 25 are independently set for recording heads 19, 20 respectively, and IC chips 22, 23 are set up for the boards 24, 25, respectively. Then, a common line 52 is arranged for each rim of both long sides of the flexible wiring boards 24, 25, and the surface electrodes 132 relative to the common electrodes corresponding to four lines of spraying nozzles of each of recording heads 19, 20 can be connected through the common line in the wiring pattern of the common line 52 and the circuit board 21 to the common electric potential, specifically the ground through the common line. Therefore, each surface electrode 132 of recording heads 19, 20 can be easily connected to the circuit board, and the common electrode can be a sufficient common electric potential.
