PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of defective molding caused by deformation of a sheet in the vicinity of metal fittings that clamp and transport the sheet, in thermoforming of a plastic sheet. SOLUTION: In a forming process of a thermoforming machine, the occurrence of the defective molding is prevented by restricting temperature rise thereof and removing the deformation of the sheet P in the vicinity of the metal fittings 2-5, by cooling the metal fittings 2-5 that clamp and transport the sheet P and the sheet P in the vicinity of the metal fittings at a process followed after a sheet preheating section 2-1.
