PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation which uses newly found pharmaceutically effective ingredients capable of imparting excellent whitening actions, skin-beautifying actions, and the like, and their combination. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is characterized by containing (A) rice germ oil and (B) one or more pharmaceutically effective agents selected from the group consisting of vitamin C and its derivatives, glycyrrhizic acid and its derivatives, and glycyrrhetic acid and its derivatives. Preferably, the skin care preparation further contains (C) one or more pharmaceutically effective agents selected from a specific whitening agent, an anti-inflammatory agent, an antioxidant, a cell-activating agent and a UV light-preventing agent.
