PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for hybridizing a target double-stranded nucleic acid with a capturing probe nucleic acid with a high efficiency. SOLUTION: This method is to hybridize the double-stranded nucleic acid containing a target sequence with the capturing probe nucleic acid. The capturing probe nucleic acid comprises a sequence complementary to the target sequence. The method comprises the following steps of (1) denaturing the double- stranded nucleic acid and providing a single-stranded nucleic acid and (2) hybridizing the single-stranded nucleic acid with the capturing probe nucleic acid in the presence of a recombination inhibiting nucleic acid containing a sequence complementary to a part of the single-stranded nucleic acid obtained in (1) and different from the target sequence and the complementary sequence thereto.
