PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a seedling transplanter in which, when seedling transplanting operation is carried out, a seal member is damaged and the sealing property can not be stabilized over a long period and entrance of muddy water and soil into a case or leakage of grease in the case occur and the apparatus is broken down, because the seal member is provided between the case and a rod-like body on the outside part of a guide member for slidably guiding the rod-like body in the conventional seedling transplanter. SOLUTION: In this seedling transplanter, the protruding body 48 provided in the rod-like body 47 transplants seedlings to a field by operation of the rod-like body 47 provided so as to pass through the wall surface of the case 40a by an operating mechanism B provided in the case 40a. In the transplanter, a guide member 53 for slidably guiding the rod-like body 47 is provided in the case 40a and an outer seal member 52 is provided between the case 40a and the rod-like body 47 in the outside part of the guide member 53 and an inner seal member 54 is provided between the case 40a and the rod-like body 47 in the inside part of the guide member 53.
