The brush is in the form of a small mitt (6) into which one or more fingers can be inserted, made from two layers of pile fabric lined with supple plastic film, either smooth or grained. The layers are joined together round their edges (4), leaving one small end (5) open for inserting the fingers. The pile fibres on the outer surfaces of the glove are inclined in the same direction, so it can be used either way round, and the mitt can be fashioned to the natural shape of the fingers. It can also be made in a variety of shapes and colours for publicity purposes.
