<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting device having excellent maintenance workability and capable of making a transporting cart branch-travel on a branch-travelling rail with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A transporting device S is equipped with a transporting rail 2 having a straight transporting passage 2A and a branched transporting passage 2B and a transporting cart 3 for travelling along the transporting rail 2. The transporting cart 3 has travelling rollers 6a and 6b on the both sides for rolling on a travelling surface 2a of the transporting rail 2. A width L2 of a clearance 2b except for a branched part D of the transporting rail 2 is set to support the outside travelling roller 6a of the transporting cart 3 and a width L1 of a clearance 2b of the branched part D is set to be smaller than the width L2 so that if either of the travelling roller 6a and the travelling roller 6b runs off when the transporting cart 2 travels from the straight transporting passage 2A to the branched transporting passage 2B, the other travelling roller can be supported by the travelling surface 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
