PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gem holder which brings the whole of a gem to be attached and supported by a setting for a gem adornment into a condition decorated on a screen and enables an observer to admire even the backside, brightness, and color of the stone. SOLUTION: On the bottom face side of a setting 2 of the gem adornment to which a gem 3 is fit in, a setting mount 2a for a flat plate shape frieze board 4 with an area wider than the area of the upper face side of the gem 3 fit into the setting 2 for stone fit into the setting 2 is equipped. The frieze board 4 is set on the setting mount 2a so that the upper face of the frieze board 4 forms a screen. A setting mount 2b to set a piece of gem 3 is equipped above the frieze board 4. A gem is fit into the setting mount 2b so that the gem is positioned on the upper face of the frieze board 4 set in the setting mount 2a in plan view. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
