PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a need for an ultrasonograph which can improve diagnosis by combining a display of additional information required to be displayed in printing/recording and a maximization of a display region of an ultrasonogram in a constitution of a display screen of a monitor device for the ultrasonograph. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph 1 producing ultrasonograms of a subject by echo signals obtained by transmitting and receiving ultrasound to and from the subject includes an ultrasonogram observing device 3, which produces composite images by combining ultrasonograms of the subject and the additional information related to the ultrasonograms, and instruction keys 25-27, which instruct to operate a display state such as a magnified display of the combined ultrasonogram and the additional information, a display of the additional information and a moving of the additional information. The display signals of a desired ultrasonogram and additional information are supplied to a monitor device for a display from the ultrasonogram observing device 3, which controls depending on instructions to operate the display state of the ultrasonograms and additional information to be combined in the image.
