PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mill roll conveying device preventing an increase of danger in work due to protrusion of a cum means for rotation controlling a rotary vessel by smoothly rotating the rotary vessel for placing a heavy mill roll thereon. SOLUTION: This mill roll conveying device has the heavy mill roll placed on the rotary vessel of a conveying truck run along a running rail and controls a rotational position of the rotary vessel by the cum means attached to the running rail. The cum means is constituted of one cum plate having a cum groove formed for slaving one cum follower of the rotary vessel. On a groove side face of the cum groove, a pair of gently sloping initial cum faces to which the cum follower contacts at the time of moving forward and backward of the conveying truck for gently rotating the rotary vessel and a steeply sloping cum face for quickly rotating the rotary vessel are formed.
