PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which has two choices of time to backup a storage means for game data. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a first backup electric power source and a separate backup electric power source to be added to the first one as backup electric power sources for a storage means for game data and can switch to backup either for a prescribed period of time only with the first backup electric power source or for a longer period of time with the first and the separate backup electric sources than the time only with the first one.
