PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bisphenol A where other equipment than equipment in a granulation process is not necessary to be stopped even in a trouble in the granulation process and the bisphenol A obtained during the trouble of the glanulation process can be used effectively without loss and to provide facilities-thereof. SOLUTION: The method for producing bisphenol A comprising a heating and melting process of an adduct of bisphenol A with phenol, a phenol removing process and a granulation process, in which at least part of the melted bisphenol A obtained in the phenol removing process is transferred to the outside of the granulation process according to a processing capacity of the glanulation process, and the facilities for producing bisphenol A, are provided.
