PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body structure of a passenger car capable of ensuring the safety of a driver/passenger(s). SOLUTION: The front body structure of the passenger car includes base members 5 coupled with side members 2, and under the side member 2, they are substantially coupled with a front support pillar 6 and a rear support pillar 7 so that higher rigidity than the side members 2 is obtained in the car longitudinal direction 3, and the support pillars 6 and 7 are connected with the side member 2 and/or base members 5 and pivot around pivot shafts 20, 21, 22 and 23 extending substantially crosswise to the car longitudinal direction during the relative displacement between the base members 5 and the side members 2 in the car longitudinal direction 3.
