PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat that can be reduced in the prime cost while contributing to safety in its structure for protecting the neck part of an occupant. SOLUTION: This vehicular seat comprises a seat back frame 5, a head rest supporting member 7 which is pivotably supported with a seat back frame 5 in a longitudinally rotatable manner, a head rest which is supported by the head rest supporting member 7, and a pressure receiving member 8 consisting of a columnar member 18 hung down from the head rest supporting member 7 and a protector 19 arranged at a position corresponding to the vicinity of a waist part of the occupant. A spring 21 which will become able to resiliently hold the protector 19 when such load as an occupant laying upon is applied, also will become able to advance the head rest to the front side FR by rotating the columnar member 18 under the weight, is intervened between the protector 19 and the columnar member 18.
