PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the prediction of an actually using tire performance via a fluid such as snow or the like. SOLUTION: The method for predicting the tire performance comprises the steps of measuring a snow quality by a tire test according to an indoor tester (step 300), then function simulating the relationship between the vertical stressσof the snow to a shearing strengthτby a polynomial formula (302), modeling the snow as an elastic-plastic material based on the functional formula of (σ-τ) to continuously form a tire model (304), calculating a vertical stressσat each element of the fluid model (snow model) to calculate the shearing strengthτto the vertical stressσaccording to the functional formula (306), calculating the shearing stress distribution for forming the tire model (308), integrating the shearing stress, calculating a traction (310), and integrating the traction as the shearing stress (310), and outputting the traction as the traction predicted value on the snow (312).
