PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use vacuum cleaner which is efficient in dust collection by keeping sucking force of an electric blower in a high condition. SOLUTION: A dust collecting section is divided by bulkheads to be formed into two dust collecting sections through a step of taking notice of a dust collecting part of the vacuum cleaner, and a first dust collecting section has a small space and is for supplementing the sucking force of a dust collecting bag (or a dust catcher) in a second dust collecting section, whose suction port is covered with a filter and a shielding door and stays dust temporarily, feeds the stayed dust into the dust collecting bag (or a dust collector) positioned below through a step of closing the shielding door, and a cleaning work can be done through a step of opening the shielding door.
