PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic and/or dermatological composition comprising at least one oxidation-sensitive hydrophilic active principle and at least one N-vinylimidazole polymer or copolymer. CONSTITUTION: A composition is characterized by comprising: a physiologically acceptable medium comprising an aqueous phase; at least one oxidation-sensitive hydrophilic active principle, and; at least one non-crosslinked N-vinylimidazole polymer or copolymer. The at least one active principle and the at least one non-crosslinked N-vinylimidazole polymer or copolymer both are present in the aqueous phase.
