PURPOSE: A method for managing synchronization of audio data and additional data and reproducing the audio data and additional data is provided to synchronize additional data such as lyric data or user input data with audio data. CONSTITUTION: Additional data with respect to audio data recorded in a rewritable recording medium is divided into a plurality of additional data units. Information about reproducing time length of the divided additional data units is recorded adjacent to the additional data units. The additional data includes lyric data with respect to the audio data and user input data. An identification code for identifying whether or not the information is recorded is added to the additional data units. The additional data is included in management information for controlling reproducing of the audio data.
