PURPOSE: Installation structure of a heat exchanger for an air conditioner is provided to reduce installation hours and cost by mounting the heat exchanger simply with inserting the heat exchanger to an insertion hole, and to decrease the size of the air conditioner by arranging the heat exchanger between support units. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger installation system of an air conditioner comprises a chassis; a heat exchanger(58) changing into cool air or warm air by heat transfer with refrigerant; and a supporting part arranging the heat exchanger in the front of the chassis. The supporting part has a left supporting part(70) supporting the left of a blower fan rotatably and inserting the left end of the heat exchanger, and a right supporting part(80) having a through hole penetrated by a shaft and inserting the right end of the heat exchanger. An insertion groove(72) of the left supporting part is faced to an insertion groove(82) of the right supporting part, and left and right end plates(64,66) are inserted to sides of left and right supporting parts and arranged between insertion grooves.
