PURPOSE: A device for reducing discharge damping of a hermetic compressor is provided to surely reduce a discharge noise of an actuating fluid generated in the hermetic compressor and simplify the structure. CONSTITUTION: A device for reducing discharge damping of a hermetic compressor comprises a discharge chamber(42) into which an actuating fluid compressed in a compression chamber is discharged; a discharge guide(60) installed inside the discharge chamber; and a discharge muffler(70). The discharge guide has a damping reduction passage(64) in which the compressed and discharged actuating fluid flows and noise is reduced. The discharge muffler removes noise and damping of the actuating fluid passing through the damping reduction passage. A head plate(30) joined with a valve assembly, and a head cover(40) mounted to the head plate form the discharge chamber. A suction guide(50) formed as one body with the discharge guide forms a suction chamber(52) inside the discharge chamber and supplies the actuating fluid to the compression chamber.
