PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to inject epoxy between dual pillars for preventing the contact between the epoxy and liquid crystal, thereby preventing the pollution of the liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a pair of transparent substrates facing each other, keeping a uniform cell gap, and having display areas(20). At least a pillar is formed on either of the transparent substrate along outer rim areas of the display area with a same height with the cell gap for distinguishing the display areas from seal parts(30) doped with an adhesive, and liquid crystal is implanted in the display areas. The substrates are joined together by injecting epoxy outside the liquid crystal. A hole(60) is formed in the pillar for serving as a liquid crystal implanting or discharging hole. |
