PURPOSE: A method for announcing life information over the phone through character transmission is provided to display contents of information provided by the other party on a character screen installed in a phone of a user if a call is sent to the other party, so that the information contents are clearly and rapidly recognized. CONSTITUTION: A monitor(2) having a screen, such as an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), with a predetermined size is installed in a phone of an originator. The monitor(2) displays character information sent from the other party on the screen. An information storage unit(4) stores contents of information to be sent by using a computer or an appropriate input device. If a call is sent to a recipient from an originating phone(1), the information storage unit(4) of the recipient receives the call and delivers contents of the information storage unit(4) of the recipient to the originator. The information contents of the recipient is displayed on the monitor(2) of the originator, and the originator selects necessary information from the information contents to use the selected information. |
