PURPOSE: A game match holding method is provided to enable a user to access a game server, to download a necessary software, to play a game at a personal terminal in an offline state, and to transmit a game result to the game server over an online network for determining the ranking for the game participants at the game server. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A user transmits a game match participation request to a game server over an online network(S102), and the server transmits an observer program and game contents to a user terminal for monitoring that the user observes a game rule in playing the game(S104). The user stores the game contents at the user terminal(S106). If the user finishes executing the game contents, the observer program captures a final game stop screen, and transmits the final game stop screen with the game score and the game rule observance data to the game server over the network(S108-S116). The game server determines the ranking of the game participants based on the game result transmitted by the observer program. |
