PURPOSE: A vibration plate edge of a speaker is provided to improve the sensitivity of sound by pressing and molding a mixed material of silicon rubber and pulverized viscose rayon and an embossing portion of a front face. CONSTITUTION: A vibration plate edge(31) of a speaker is formed by pressing and molding raw materials including silicon rubber. An embossing portion is formed on a front face of the vibration plate edge. The raw materials including silicon rubber is formed with a mixture of the silicon rubber and viscose rayon. The viscose rayon is pulverized in an interval of the length of 0.1mm to 3.0mm. A weight percent ratio of the silicon rubber and the viscose rayon is 100:3.
