PURPOSE: A fishing rod is provided to increase a pleasure of fishing by transferring a feeling of hooking fish to the handle directly. CONSTITUTION: The fishing rod(300) consisting of a cylindrical hollow bamboo tube(310), a plurality of partitions(320) divided with joints, and a taper(330) connected with the most remote partition from the bamboo tube(10), wherein the partitions are telescopically connected, comprises a grip portion(350) which has a cylindrical hollow tube body(351) of which both ends are open; and a plurality of supporting bars(352) extending from an interior wall of the tube body to a center of the tube. When the tube body(351) is inserted into the bamboo tube, respective ends of the supporting bars(352) are closely contacted on the outer circumference of the bamboo tube(310).
