PURPOSE: To decrease the fraction defective of a liquid crystal display device having an electric supply route provided for supplying electric power from a connection pad on an array substrate to a counter electrode on a counter substrate by preventing the occurrence of breaking of wire in the electric supply route. CONSTITUTION: Electric supply is carried out from a first electric supply terminal 34 on the array substrate 10 to the counter electrode on the counter substrate 20 through an electrically conductive material 61 between the substrates. An electric supply wiring connection pad 13 and the first electric supply terminal 34 are connected by electric supply wiring 34a formed of an aluminum-based metal simultaneously with a signal line and, and redundant electric supply wiring 14a formed of a molybdenum-based metal, etc., simultaneously with a scanning line. The electric supply wiring 34a is electrically connected to the electric supply wiring pad 13 through contact holes 45 and 46 and an ITO (indium-tin-oxide) layer 54 for electric supply wiring contact. The redundant electric supply wiring 14a is electrically connected to the first electric supply terminal 34 through contact holes 47 and 48 and an ITO layer 55 for the electric supply terminal contact.
