PURPOSE: A connection assembly for connecting an electric system to electric components of a sliding door for a vehicle is provided to connect the electric system to the electric component of the sliding door permanently regardless of opening and closing the door by using a flexible cable or overlapping plural flat cables. CONSTITUTION: A connection assembly(1) connects an electric system of a vehicle to at least one electric component(4) of a sliding door(2) of the vehicle connected by at least one articulated arm(6) to a carriage(7) running along a relative longitudinal rail(8) integral with a body(3) of the vehicle. The connection assembly has at least one flexible flat cable(20) having a first end(21) connected to the electric component of the door and a second end(22) connected to the electric system of the vehicle, a guide unit(23) of variable configuration for guiding a first portion(24) of the cable along the articulated arm and for adapting the configuration of the first portion to movement of the articulated arm, and a housing unit(44) for neatly gathering and dispensing a second portion(26) of the cable as the carriage moves along the rail.
